Jazz band Fleur Seule returns to Birdland with a concert and Q&A of material from the latest Ella Fitzgerald biography, "Ella: A Biography of the Legendary Ella Fitzgerald." Bring your questions about the star and her music, because publisher Mies Hora will be there to answer and enlighten, while Fleur Seule performs her swinging tunes live! Books will be for sale at the performance.

Fleur Seule is a Manhattan based jazz band that specializes in the music of the 1940s. They have been the house band of Tavern on the Green for 4 years and host weekly performances in some of New York's most prestigious venues. Vocalist and bandleader, Allyson Briggs, will sing her way through the evolving repertoire of Ella Fitzgerald during the height of the swing era.
